I’m a couple of days late, but I wanted to share a list of my favorite father-daughter movies and tv shows for Father’s Day. I hope everyone had a wonderful day on Saturday celebrating the father figure in their life.
Walking out of the theater with tears dried on my cheeks and mask I thought I’d never seen a more beautiful film. Then the critic reviews and tweets started rolling in.

On June 3rd I was able to do an interview with the cast of The Jester. I loved getting to interact with them a bit and getting to know them better.
New works, like The Jester, are my passion. It’s always fun to produce the classics, but it’s important to remember that the classics were once new works too.
The world was introduced to the Bechdel Test in 1985. It was initially created as a way to measure films by three criteria. In 2021, I’m adapting it and applying it to another art form.
I didn’t get a chance to write a lot of script reviews this month. I was able to start reading some musical books that have started gathering dust on my bookshelf though. Here we go!
It might seem a little bit outdated, but I want to take a minute to recognize some scripts that I read for the Bay Area Playwrights Festival that really stood out to me.
It’s going to take a lot for me to get back in the groove of things as theatre begins to open back up and I begin to find work again.
